As the (Senior) Manager, Strategy, MEDIFOX DAN, you will own strategy development at MEDIFOX DAN (MD). You will drive strategic initiatives across MD including the development and execution of the strategic value creation plan. You will also closely support M&A and Business Development activities across the group – including identifying, screening and managing BD and Partnership targets, performing due diligence assessments and post-merger integration. The role will cover all of the MEDIFOX DAN group and requires a high level of collaboration across multiple MD businesses and support functions. It will require excellent strategic, analytical and communication skills and requires a passion for digital health, software and healthcare more generally as well as independence, flexibility and a natural curiosity.

 

The role will report into the Chief Operating Officer, MEDIFOX DAN and work closely with the MD executive team. It will also collaborate closely with the Corporate Strategy & Ventures team from ResMed. It will also partner closely with the Director, M&A at MEDIFOX DAN and the Senior Manager, Transformation, MEDIFOX DAN

Let´s talk about Responsibilities

• Support overall strategic development of MD
• Identification and definition of strategy
• Execution and governance of strategy
• Lead key strategic projects 
• Support Business Development, Partnership and M&A activities:
  • Market Assessments and analysis
  • Identification and screening of targets
  • Initial discussions with potential partners and targets
  • Performing Due Diligence and Negotiating with Targets
  • Driving partnerships
  • Managing BD relationships
• Enterprise economics for the MD Group
• Financial analysis and modeling for businesses in the Group
• Business case development
• Identify efficiency and profit improvement opportunities
• Attend and report back from industry conferences and events
• Ensure the implementation of management system within area of responsibility (including health & safety, quality & environmental)

Let´s talk about Qualifications and Experience

• Four-year Degree and a minimum of eight years related experience, will accept experience in lieu of degree.
• Excellent data analytics and financial modeling experience- business cases and financial models (DCF, LBO, etc.)
• Deep understanding of software and healthcare enterprise economics/incentives and value drivers
• FP&A background (or acquired skillset) combined with a natural curiosity to identify opportunities for growth acceleration and profit improvement
• Inventive, creative and solution oriented in ambiguous situations
• Curiosity to drive the next levels of business questions and insights, not afraid to ask questions, big picture thinker
• Strong self-starter who can work independently
• Fluent German and English

Desirable:

• MBA or other advanced degree
• Investment banking or management consulting background
• Commercial deal development and execution experience in healthcare and/or consumer wellness
• Expertise in software, Health Care IT, or digital health
