As the Head of M&A and Business Development (m/f/d) you will help drive M&A, business development and partnering activities across the MEDIFOX DAN group – including identifying, screening and managing targets, performing due diligence assessments, negotiating, executing agreements and conducting post-merger integration. You will also play a leading role in strategic projects and evaluations.
The role requires a high level of collaboration across multiple MEDIFOX DAN businesses and functions. It will require excellent strategic, analytical and financial skills and require a passion for software, digital health and healthcare more generally as well as independence, flexibility and a natural curiosity.
The role will report into the Chief Operating Officer, MEDIFOX DAN and work closely with the executive team. It will also collaborate closely with the Corporate Strategy & Ventures team from ResMed.

Let´s talk about Responsibilities
- Lead M&A, Business Development and Partnerships activities across MEDIFOX DAN:
- Market assessments and analysis
- Identification and screening of targets
- Initial discussions with potential partners and targets
- Performing Due Diligence and Negotiating with Targets
- Valuation modeling (DCF, LBO)
- Driving partnerships
- Managing BD relationships
- Support overall strategic development of the MEDIFOX DAN group
- Execution and governance of strategy
- Lead strategic projects
- Enterprise economics for group businesses
- Financial analysis and modeling for the MD group
- Business case development
- Identify efficiency and profit improvement opportunities
- Systematic competitive intelligence and monitoring
- Attend and report back from industry conferences and events
- Build and manage relationships with advisors and investment banks
Let´s talk about Qualifications and Experience
- Four-year Degree and a minimum of eight years related experience, will accept experience in lieu of degree.
- Excellent data analytics and financial modeling experience- business cases and financial models (DCF, LBO, etc.)
- Deep understanding of software and healthcare enterprise economics/incentives and value drivers
- FP&A background (or acquired skillset) combined with a natural curiosity to identify opportunities for growth acceleration and profit improvement
- Inventive, creative and solution oriented in ambiguous situation
- Curiosity to drive the next levels of business questions and insights, not afraid to ask questions, big picture thinker
- Strong self-starter who is able to work independently
- Fluent German and English
